Regional products, beer and local flavours
Located in the heart of the historic centre of Lille (Vieux Lille), a few steps away from the Grand'Place, discover a unique grocer's shop where you can find regional products, local flavours and true farm style, handcrafted and gourmet products from the Nord. L'Estaminette also offers a wide range of original regional gifts and souvenirs from Lille: wooden toys, books, CDs, custom made hampers, speculoos spread, sweets, ceramics, retro games, cheese, Dutch gin, a beer cellar, beer selection packs, drinking glasses, tea towels, small jugs, etc.We have only one criterion when choosing our products: top quality. This is why we have carefully chosen the producers we work with, have visited their workshops and tasted all the products we now sell. Most of them are labelled "Bienvenue à la ferme" (national farm network) or "Le panier vert" (producers' cooperative). L'Estaminette is part of the "Boutiques de produits régionaux" (Regional products shops) network of the Nord-Pas de Calais region.
All our handcrafted beers are from the Nord-Pas de Calais, except for the "Triple Karmeliet", a handcrafted top-fermented beer.
75cl beers are sold €4.50 and 33cl beers are sold €2,
Every Saturday afternoon in front of l'Estaminette (if the weather is nice), our barrel organ makes you sing thanks to the warm and wistful tone of our Chanterue organ. This small barrel organ with perforated music rolls is the exact copy of a 1890 model.
